This trip will be part of the Kangaroo Valley Extravaganza 2025. You can't sign up to this trip directly. You'll need to request to come to KVE. If you have been invited to come to KVE, check the trip allocation calendar to see if you're going on this trip. If you are coming to KVE, and you haven't been allocated a spot on this trip, but you really want to join, email Bill McAlister (bushwalking officer on the contacts page).
We will meander up from the campsite in kayaks, and paddle around the beautiful lake. There is potential room to camp out of the kayaks if their are convenient logistics, but unlikely. This is the more beginner paddle of the trip, but we will likely want to sail, and I will prefer those who are familiar with our gear, and remotely paddle fit.
There will be a trailer loading pre-trip session on the Wednesday prior at 7:15pm after the gear store session. This is MANDATORY for going on a kayaking trip.
Departure: We'll depart from the designated meeting point at the KVE campsite at ~8:30am.
Return: We expect to be back by sunset.
Please Bring:
- Water for ~8 hours
- Sun protection
- Wet gear - you will get wet, those who show up with gear they dont want wet, will get wet first... no mercy.
- Lunch, snacks
- A good attitude
